Meet Rebecca
Your Circuit Court Judge
Hello, I am Judge Rebecca White and I am currently running to remain your Circuit Court Judge.
In March of 2021 I was appointed to the circuit court bench by Governor Ron DeSantis. I am currently assigned to the civil, family and dependency divisions of Okeechobee County.

Why Judge Rebecca White
Already Working for Families...
When I was assigned to Okeechobee dependency court, I immediately started researching and focusing on what we could do to help the children in dependency.
Maybe it is because I have four young children myself or maybe it was because of my experience as a prosecutor where much of my time was spent on cases involving children, either way I felt a special calling to help children in dependency. In creating Early Childhood Court, the Florida Legislature has recognized that children under the age of five are different.
